SPARK Oldham may be a young organisation but our commitment to young people is already making an impact.
Through the SPARK young Leaders Programme, we now supported 50 young local 16-21 year olds in just under a year, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and begin meaningful career journeys.

We set up these events to build a buddy as something families can do together that isn't too expensive and results in something each person taking part can keep. It also generates funds to support Spark and our future enterprises

Informal Mentoring Programme
Can you support our Young Leaders?
SPARK Oldham are looking for informal mentors to provide personal support, assistance, encouragement and inspiration to our Young Leaders:
Can you spare an hour a week?
As an informal mentor you will support our Young Leaders to set goals and help them improve their life opportunities. This can be around their aspirations for the future, such as education, employment and training (EET). Or soft skills like motivation, confidence and communication skills.
