The £1 on the Ground initiative invites people to contribute just £1 per month to help Spark Oldham continue delivering vital support services to local families, young people and individuals in need. The simple idea of collective small giving has already begun to take shape, and events like this one are crucial for building momentum and awareness.
As one guest put it, “If anyone wants to know how they can help — from a small donation to volunteering or mentoring — Spark’s kettle is always on.”

We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who came, shared their stories, and helped make the morning meaningful. Your support — whether through donations, time, expertise or simply by attending — strengthens our ability to be helping people of Oldham shine their brightest.
