Our Vision for the Future

Together, we’re building a thriving community where individuals and families can flourish, supported by a warm, welcoming space that fosters social connection, belonging, and opportunity.


We’re working to build a strong, sustainable future for our team and the communities we serve. Our goals are to create more job opportunities and volunteering pathways, and to grow lasting partnerships with local businesses that strengthen our collective impact.


By reducing our reliance on grant funding, we aim to secure long-term stability for our team of over 100 dedicated people. 

SPARK Highlights

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together since establishing SPARK in 2023:

  • Over 50 young people (aged 16–21) gained paid employment through our school holiday programmes, developing valuable skills and experience.
  • Mayoral recognition for both individual and team achievements, celebrating the dedication and impact of our work.
  • 3,745 volunteering hours contributed — a testament to the incredible commitment of our community.
  • Finalists in the Oldham Young Business of the Year Awards, recognising our innovation and growth.
  • Recognised by the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce as Community Contributor of the Year for our positive impact across the region.

At SPARK OLDHAM CIC, we're a community interest company driven by a deep passion to transform lives. With a belief that strong mental health, early years support, vibrant youth groups, job creation and volunteering opportunities are essential to creating and developing a thriving community. We collaborate with other organisations, mental health professionals, and volunteers to maximise our impact.
